The design, installation and commissioning of an analogue addressable fire detection and alarm system incorporating high sensitivity air sampling systems to detect the products of combustion at the very earliest possible time, therefore minimising damage. One of the clients concerns was the care and expertise of the installation methods in view of the irreplaceable fabric contained within the National Trust's listed building.

CASE STUDY 2
The authority that provides Britains major navigational aids at sea has been automating lighthouses since the mid eighties. Impulse has provided more than 25 fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems in this time. In keeping with the environmental concern leading authorities express these days, Trinity House Lighthouse Service has directed that fine water spray extinguishing systems should form the basis of all extinguishing systems installed.

Since 1982 the UK Government has increased its military presence in the Falkland Islands. Impulse were awarded a turnkey project to protect the extensive accommodation facilities in this remote corner of the world. More than 35km of cabling connects 40 analogue addressable systems to provide state of the art detection and alarm control.
